Sing, dance, and make instruments with us as we visit faraway lands and learn about different cultures and storytelling through music! Fairytale Fridays every first Friday of the month at 4pm free with museum admission! South Florida Chamber Ensemble (SFCE) partners with Young At Art Museum to conduct a live concert performance through fables and fairytales with new fantastical themes each month. Listen to a Fairy Tale from around the world set to music and make a costume piece and a musical instrument from the culture.

October 6: The Atahualpa Headdress Story (Ecuador): Unveiling the history and significance of this captivating traditional headpiece from Ecuador, a symbol of cultural pride and artistic excellence.
November 3: The Six Judges Story (India): A fascinating glimpse into an ancient Indian tale of wisdom, justice, and the six wise judges who became legendary symbols of fairness and integrity.
December 1: Hansel and Gretel Story (Germany): A timeless German fairy tale of two brave siblings, their clever wits, and their encounter with a wicked witch in a dark and enchanting forest.
January 5: Aggayu and Shango Story (Nigeria): An enchanting Nigerian legend that weaves together the tales of Aggayu, the gentle giant of the earth, and Shango, the powerful god of thunder and lightning, celebrating the vibrant mythology of the Yoruba people.
February 2: Mulan Story (China): The courageous journey of Mulan, a legendary Chinese warrior who defied tradition to protect her family and country, inspiring generations with her bravery and resilience.
March 1: Snow White Story (Netherlands): A beloved Dutch fairy tale of a kind-hearted princess, a wicked queen, and seven endearing dwarfs, filled with magic, mirrors, and timeless lessons of courage and kindness.
April 5: Alice in Wonderland Story (England): The whimsical adventure of Alice as she tumbles down the rabbit hole into a fantastical world of curious characters, mad tea parties, and imaginative wonder, in this iconic English tale.
