Fairytale Fabulous: An evening with Ry Herman

Ry Herman is back with another epic quest and they are funnier than ever - join us for the Edinburgh launch of This Knight Topples Empires!
About this Event

A raucous, tongue-in-cheek spin on the Eastern European fairy tale “The Girl Who Pretended to Be a Boy,” in which a knight attempts to thwart an invasion, save the most beautiful woman in the world, and finally get away from their sisters....

The best is fairytale reimaginings, queer chaos and cosy fantasy, Herman's latest serves up a whirlwind of botched disguises, accidental heroics, talking animals with surprisingly strong opinions, and one very inconvenient crush on the most sought-after princess in the land.

Come for the silliness, stay for a story that's bursting with heart.
