Four contemplations in the park to help bring the magic of woodland fairytales into your daily life. You will receive a small, handmade woodland notebook. We will compare the woods to farmland, walk into the woods imaging fairytales and sharing notes on fairytale magic, meditate on stress relief while on a bridge, and compare the formal mansion yard to the woods. Then, we will stop at the greenhouse for a restroom break, a chance to purchase beverages and/or lunch at the cafe, and a final brainstorming session. We will hike on the Green Trail for about a mile at a leisurely pace. (This trail is dirt and not easily accessible to wheelchairs or walkers.) The first twelve participants will receive a thrifted fairytale book for adults wrapped in a woodland hankerchief. $10 donation for supplies appreciated. Let me know if you are coming. Mosquito spray and a bottle of water are recommended. If the weather is raining hard or dangerously windy, I will let you know on this event page. Rain date will be Saturday, October 19th. Allerton Park is about 45 minutes from Champaign on I-72 West.
