Chimney Park, “a park with heart”, will once again host the Fairy Festival at Chimney Park, an event for children of all ages!
The festival will be held this year on Saturday, May 10th from 2-4PM.
The festival features many opportunities for fairy fun! Children can visit a gnome’s home, see fairy houses, walk through a fairy tunnel, and enjoy an afternoon of fairy crafts, games, archery, and play. In addition, vendors will be on site offering fairy-themed toys, accessories, and more.
Fairy Houses is open to the public with a donation of $5.00 per person plus fees (children under 2 free). Tickets can be purchased at the festival entrance. The event has become a cherished annual tradition and also serves as a fundraiser for the park. The event is planned and hosted by the Friends of Newton Parks, who also manage the development of the park.
There is no rain date or refunds.
Chimney Park is located at 8201 Hazelbrand Road in Covington, behind the Newton County Library on Floyd Street.
