Fairweather Friends with Special Guests: The Hibachi Heroes!

Fairweather Friends is an occasional concert series held in the listening space at Fox Music House in North Charleston. The main idea of the series is cross genre performance and collaborations with some of the lowcountry's best musicians.

Fairweather is an acoustic supergroup - Multi-instrumentalist John Holenko, bassist John F. Kennedy, and singer/songwriter Mike Kaufman - with diverse influences and decades of performance experience. We play lots of original songs, traditional tunes, Dead covers and anything else people are willing to pay us for.

The Hibachi Heroes (most excellent super happy hero fun band) are a harmonica powered funk/rock band, formed in Charleston, SC in 2012. The band's music spans a variety of genres, including funk-rock, psychedelic rock, folk rock, soul, and Southern rock. They are known for upbeat, fun, 'jamming' with extensive improvisation, but enough pop sensibility to keep an audience's attention captivated.
