Our Fairview Friday STEM Series is the perfect place for kids to explore science, technology, engineering, and creativity—all through engaging, seasonal projects! Each week features a new activity that encourages curiosity, problem-solving, and self-expression.
This week’s challenge: Rubber Band Racers
Kids will design, build, and race their very own rubber band–powered cars while exploring the science of tension, energy, and motion. It’s fast, fun, and full of discovery!
Through this series, participants will:
Build STEM skills through creative projects
Learn to experiment, design, and create
Have fun in a supportive, hands-on environment
