Going to try out a little something new with our new 9 hole pitch and putt course! We're calling it an ace race, but you aren't limited to any specific discs. You can even bring your whole bag.
Start time is 10 am, there has been issues with the event time showing something other than 10am, my apologies for this, I don't know why it's happening unless it's an error on my end I'm not catching (-Bentele). Winter league will be 10 am unless we are playing multiple rounds in a day.
$10 pro or masters
$9 am
(no skins, ace pot will not be in play for this event)
($1 to league fund, rest to payout, this will be a bigger payout than usual because of no skins or ace pot)
Each hole you will throw two discs. Both discs count for points as follows.
Ace=25 points.
Basket and above no ace = 10 points.
metal below the basket (pin or pole) = 5 points.
If neither disc aces, you will putt from your closest disc for an attempt at a consolation point. basically if you make your birdie it is worth 1 point. (use any disc to putt with).
Most points wins!
FAQ's
If I ace with my first disc, then what? Throw your second for a chance at more points. you already made a disc, so no chance at consolation in the case of an ace. Max points per hole is 50 points.
let's say you hit the band on both drives and make your consolation putt, you would get 21 points for the hole.
Hit the basket on your first drive, but then miss your birdie putt, that's 10 points.
hit the pin on both drives, and make your birdie putt. 11 points.
miss metal on both throws, make no putt.... no points for the hole.
