⚠️⚠️⚠️ WARNING⚠️⚠️⚠️According to Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/947 of 24 May 2019, each pilot must present a registration number in the UAS operator registration platform, provided to him by the relevant issuing authority of the European Union Member State where he resides. If the pilot resides in a country outside the European Union, please contact the following email for further assistance from us to register you locally in Bulgaria - [email protected]
Failure to comply with the rule will result in the pilot not being allowed to take part in the race. Thus, please contact us at least 3 weeks before date of the race if you are outside of the European Union! We will most probably be absolutely unable to help you getting such a registration number if you ask us to do so 1-2 days before the race, not to mention if you ask when you show up on the track.
Applicable to all Bulgarian pilots - registration on the CAA platform is mandatory https://drones.caa.bg/
Race Format:
Spaces limited to the first 48 pilots.
10+ rounds of qualification, fastest 3 Consecutive Laps
DKO eliminations
LEDs - NO
OSD - PilotName
Pilot registration will start on 17.07.2025 at 15:00 and will continue until 18.07.2025 10:00 at the race track.
Sofia is set to host the 2026 FAI World Cup round this year [moved from Varna]. The event is organized by Sport Club "Sportist Lozen - Sport Za Vsichki" and the Bulgarian Aircraft Modeling Federation. FAI F9U Rules will be applied. Lunch served. Bring tables / chairs if possible. Some of the best racers in the world have been invited.
