Dear Friends,
We are inviting you for a fascinating and undiscovered Fahle Paper Factory Secrets Tour.
It is going to be a very educational and fun tour on Tallinn Paper History and its production. Though the first true paper, the first true papermaking process was documented in China during the Eastern Han period (25–220 AD), traditionally attributed to the court official Cai Lun.
There is still a chance to see the "real" factory quarter and its interesting surroundings.

On the 11th of Febuary at 11.00 we will meet at entrance of Tallinn Central Bus Station, at Lastekodu 46.
The predecessor of the factory is the Ülemiste Paper Mill, founded in 1664 by Lorents Jauch. Until 1893, the company was called Ülemiste Paper Factory.
In 1893, a group of enterprising citizens of Tallinn, headed by Ernst Osse, decided to build a pulp factory instead of a paper factory, and the factory was changed to a pulp factory.
In 1899, the company was managed by a 24 year old Emil Fahle, who came to Estonia with a very little money. But under his careful leadership were built most of the buildings of Pulp Industrial Complex.
The tour will be guided by interesting stories about the history and modern life stories of Tallinn Paper & Pulp Factory Quarter
Stanislav Lomunov who is an experienced guide both in Tallinn and elsewhere in Estonia. He is fluent in Russian, Estonian, English and German.
Stanislav has a very good sense of humor, acting skills and extensive knowledge of both history and modern life. Stanislav is good in communication and is a highly valued guide with great experience.
Coming to the tour, please dress according to the weather.
We offer hot drink and sweet treats during the tour.
