Faculty flutist Cathie Apple performs along with pianist Jennifer Reason, cellist Tim Stanley, and guitarist George England. The concert will feature the works of Amanda Harberg, Asha Srinivasan, Clarice Assad, Louise Farrenc, and Reena Esmail.Dr. Apple is principal flutist for North State Symphony and one of the founders of the new music ensemble Citywater. She is a regular performer at the Music at Noon concert series in Sacramento, and performs on traverso with the Sinfonia Spirituosa Baroque orchestra. She earned her doctorate from the University of Michigan, where she studied with Amy Porter.
Admission: $15 general, $10 senior, $5 student
