This meeting is meant to help local democrats and dem aligned residents connect and get more informed. You'll meet several different Tally and Leon community leaders that may be of help to you or others.
Leon is one of the six Florida counties that did NOT fall to Trump in 2024. That's 6 out of 67. Given the math, it's more important than ever that Tallahassee and Leon County doubles down on democratic and community values.
By strengthening local solidarity, holding fast to what matters, and helping more residents become informed~ we become more prepared for whatever lies ahead~ such as helping those at greater risk, providing support & information for one another; and protecting what we can.
Whether its environmental concerns; low wages and poverty; health care; high taxes, rent, or home insurance costs; public eduation; harms to women, lgbtq, minority, race, or immigrants... Together we are stronger.
Tallahassee is on a path of increasing state and national attention~ because in a sea of red we have some very strong blue. It's on us to keep it that way.
