Join Facing Forward for food, drinks, and fun at District Brew Yards during our upcoming Associate Board Mix and Mingle!

Connect with current members, like-minded supporters, and staff to find out how the Associate Board supports our mission to end homelessness and ways you can get involved.

This year's event will coincide with , a statewide day of giving hosted by Illinois nonprofits dedicated to providing our unhoused neighbors with stable homes and support services that transform lives.

Please note, the Mix & Mingle is a free social event and attendees will purchase their own drinks and food. District Brew Yards will be generously donating 10 cents per ounce from the beer sales on the night of our event!

Facing Forward's Associate Board is a dynamic group of rising Chicago-area professionals who support our mission to end homelessness through fundraising, networking, and volunteering opportunities year-round.

AB members have opportunities to:

• Help end homelessness for more families and individuals in Chicago.
• Gain knowledge about homelessness in Chicago, Facing Forward's work, and the nonprofit sector.
• Develop professional and leadership skills
• Network with other passionate philanthropists and professionals in the Chicago area
• Serve on Governing Board committees
• Attend exclusive Facing Forward client-centered events (Family Day, Back to School Bach, and Holiday Gift Drive Events)

Membership:

• Minimum 1 year commitment
• Attend 75% of monthly hour-long meetings
• Strive to meet annual give/get through personal giving and fundraising
• Assist with planning and execution of annual fundraising and recruitment events. Current events include: Trivia Night (Sept/Oct), Giving Tuesday (Nov/Dec), Share the Love donation drive (Feb), Paint & Sip Fundraiser (May), Mix & Mingle Event (July)
