About this Event
We are delighted to invite you to the one day symposium Faces of Industrial Research (FIR) 2022! This symposium is organized by Nestlé Research PhD students in collaboration with the BioScience Network Lausanne (BSNL).During the event, scientists and postdocs currently employed by Nestlé, Novartis, Roche, and Lonza, as well as local start-ups and universities, will showcase their career paths and scientific projects by giving short talks. The symposium will also include networking opportunities with the speakers.
The goal of this symposium is to provide insight into fundamental and translational research done in Life Science and Healthcare companies based in Switzerland. It will also allow future scientists to discover what industry can offer in terms of scientific projects as well as opportunities for young scientists. Furthermore, this event wants to create awareness and acknowledgement of existing industrial programs for MSc’s, PhDs, and PostDocs.
