Fabulous Fungi walk

Take a walk on the wilder side at this pretty woodland nature reserve on the outskirts of Market Weighton, East Yorkshire.

Spore a love for mushrooms and mycelium as we search for the fungi that help keep this woodland healthy and keep us entertained!

What to bring/wear

We'd recommend sturdy and waterproof footwear or wellies, and lots of layers! It could still be midge and mosquito season so we highly recommend wearing insect repellent.

Toilets and catering

There are no toilet or catering facilities on this site. There are pubs and supermarkets in Market Weighton.

Parking

Parking is on a grass verge at the reserve entrance and can accommodate four cars. This is on a quiet country road with little traffic.

Additional information

You may wish to bring a picnic and a flask of hot drinks but please take your litter home with you.
