Mature kids (4th &5th graders) and mature teens.
Friday, November 22, from 5-7PM.
$5 Supply Fee to the instructor.
Make 4-5 charming friends to dangle from your Christmas tree or turn them into a brooch for yourself or a loved one!
This class will involve a little hand sewing and a little machine sewing (Annie will do the machine sewing). We’ll sew tiny owls from fabric scraps (could be fabric with meaning to the recipient), stuff them, and give them personality with embroidery and other embellishment. Each will get a cute little twig to sit on and either an ornament loop or pinback attached. Ideas are endless for what you can do with a fistful of miniature owls. String a garland of them or use as charms for jewelry!
This class is a great introduction to sewing and could ignite a spark-for-sewing in your children that lasts a lifetime! Let’s have fun and get creative together!
