About this Event

Curious about what fibres, fabrics and community have in common? Looking for

a relaxed evening to learn, make and connect? Well this event may be for you!

Join us for an evening of learning, making and connection with our Fabric of Community event!

Learn about the different fibres used in local small-scale design and production, and get a closer look at the materials that go into making fabrics.

Then get hands-on with our badge-making activity and explore what community,

connection and belonging mean to you.

Using a variety of creative materials to create badges inspired by the people, places,

activities and interests that help make you feel connected to your community.

Make one, share one, leave one!

Make a badge for yourself, make one to share with someone else, and leave one

behind at the store for another member of the community to discover after the event.

No artistic experience necessary! Just bring your ideas and see what you come up with!

We’ll also have some light, warming refreshments to enjoy while you learn, make

and connect.

Supplies and refreshments will be provided, but feel free to bring any extra art materials you may want to use!

This event capacity is capped at 15 people.

Please RSVP at your earliest convenience so we can confirm numbers. You will be

contacted the Monday before the event to confirm your attendance. Please make sure

you cancel your ticket if you can no longer attend.
