About this Event
Fabric is the biggest expense of producing any sewn product. 4 Point Fabric Inspection is the industry standard for measuring and recording defects. Textile suppliers do NOT want you to know about this method. With 4-point inspection knowledge you can protect yourself from paying for subpar fabric.
Attendees will participate in this hands-on demonstration, learning how to recognize, document and score defects. Many defect examples will be shared along with real-life scenarios of problems and applied solutions.
Participants will also learn how to perform shrinkage tests, what is an acceptable shrinkage percentage and, most importantly, what are the options for excessive fabric shrinkage.
You DO NOT have to accept bad quality and you have options!!
