The Italian Cultural Institute Sydney is delighted to present acclaimed Italian guitarist Fabio Barbagallo in an evening celebrating the rich traditions and expressive beauty of the classical guitar.
The programme takes audiences on a musical journey across centuries and cultures, featuring works by Pietro Paulo Borrono da Milano, Niccolò Paganini, Gerardo Tamez, Thierry Tisserand, Máximo Diego Pujol, and Daniel Fortea, alongside traditional Sicilian dances and beloved Neapolitan classics, including 'O sole mio, Torna a Surriento, and Te voglio bene assaje.
An internationally acclaimed performer, Fabio Barbagallo has given concerts, masterclasses, and lectures in more than 30 countries across Europe, the Americas, Asia, and Africa. Renowned for his versatility and expressive artistry, he is also the founder and Artistic Director of the Solarino International Guitar Festival.
