Fab Morvan (born Fabrice Maxime Sylvain Morvan on May 14, 1966, in Paris) is a French-born singer, dancer, and producer known as the surviving member of the late‑’80s pop duo Milli Vanilli. Fab released his memoir, You Know It’s True, offering an intimate look at his journey through fame, scandal, and redemption. Most recently, he was announced as a 2026 Grammy nominee, marking a milestone in reclaiming his musical legacy.
Discovered in Munich alongside partner Rob Pilatus by producer Frank Farian, Fab rose to global fame with hits like “Girl You Know It’s True, “Blame It on the Rain,” and “Baby Don’t Forget My Number,” even winning a Grammy for Best New Artist in 1990—later returned after it was revealed they hadn’t sung on their recordings.
After Pilatus’ tragic death in 1998, Fab continued his solo career, releasing the album Love Revolution in 2003 and performing worldwide. He also co-produced and consulted on two film projects telling his story: the Paramount+ documentary Milli Vanilli and the dramatized feature Girl You Know It’s True, which premiered in Germany in 2023 and North America in 2024 to praise for its emotional depth and honesty. Today, Fab continues to perform, create music, and share his story with new audiences.
