Kdysi byly významnými stavbami, hodnotnými uměleckými díly, ikonami reprezentujícími stát. Co z nich zbylo a co znamenají v současnosti? Sovětská výstavba a její modernistická a brutalistní architektura měla neodmyslitelný podíl na budování současné podoby gruzínského města Tbilisi, v minulosti se pyšnícího titulem „výkladní skříň” Sovětského svazu. Dokument sleduje osudy osmi budov prostřednictvím intimních výpovědí jejich obyvatel a otevírá témata identity, proměn společnosti a politických konfliktů. Kolektiv českých a zahraničních studentů vytvořil film v rámci ateliéru Locument na FA VUT ve spolupráci s architektonickým bienále v Tbilisi v roce 2022.

They were once important buildings, valuable works of art, icons representing the state. What is left of them and what do they mean today? Soviet construction and its modernist and brutalist architecture had an integral part in building the present-day appearance of the Georgian city of Tbilisi, once proud of its title as the "showcase" of the Soviet Union. The documentary follows the lives of eight buildings through the intimate testimonies of their inhabitants, opening up themes of identity, social change, and political conflict. A collective of Czech and international students created the film as part of the Locument studio at FA CTU in collaboration with the 2022 Tbilisi Architecture Biennale.
