CLASS INFORMATION

Are you a printmaker with a stash of discarded, unloved, or just plain “meh” prints stored away? In this class, you’ll reimagine old prints by cropping, painting, drawing, collaging, and over printing. It’s all about process, play, and creative risk taking. Try new techniques. Use new materials. Use familiar materials in unfamiliar ways. Make marks you can’t control. Rip up your work. It’s a low stakes way to loosen up and practice your composition, color, and decision making skills. You’ll have ample time to work and explore on your own. Suitable for all levels; you’ll need a minimum of 15 prints (more is better!) that are ready to be reimagined.
