The slam is open to poets of all levels and abilities, and we are actively recruiting for our performer line-up! If you would like to perform at this signature event, please complete our online application form at https://www.uidaho.edu/f-word.
This event is intended to showcase relationships to and perspectives of feminism, gender justice, and resistance of the imperialist white supremacist capitalist patriarchy through poetry. We are accepting original poetry and readings of other poets’ work with proper attribution. There is no charge to perform at this event.
The deadline for submissions is Monday, October 25 at 5:00 pm. Artists will be notified whether or not they have been selected to perform by Friday, October 29.
This event is free for all students with valid student ID.
General admission for non-students = $5.00. Proceeds will benefit the Women’s Center.
Tickets will be available at the U of I Women's Center and at the door.
