Many of you know my dear friend Michelle Muirhead, her 19 year old daughter has had a rough year and we would like to take some of the stress off the family. Come join us for a fun day and supporting our volleyball family.

A little about Camila, she was diagnosed with Thyroid cancer the end of last September. She has surgery to remove her thyroid and lymph nodes Oct 29th last year. 23 of the lymph nodes that were removed came back positive for cancer. She had radioactive iodine treatment this past January. Unfortunately there were additional masses so she had to have the 2nd surgery. 6 more lymph nodes from this surgery came back positive with cancer. There was a complication from this surgery in which chyle (the fluid that moves through our lymph nodes) is leaking out. Her surgical drain is still in and is now infected. There is a chance she will have to have another surgery to repair the complications. The cancer seemed to be more contained this last surgery so hoping she will not need more treatments... but that will all be determined later.
