Ezekiel's Strength 5k Memorial Run

Come join us for the Ezekiel's Strength 5k Memorial Run at the CSU Oval! Lace up your running shoes and honor the memory of Ezekiel with a fun and meaningful run. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just looking for a way to support a great cause, this event is perfect for everyone. Let's come together to celebrate Ezekiel's life and strength, while raising funds and awareness for those with epilepsy. See you at the starting line!

All funds raised will benefit the Epilepsy Foundation of Colorado & Wyoming. This race is organized by Molly Johnston, a CSU student in the honors college and friend of Zeke's. All minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Ezekiel was born with a rare chromosome abnormality, that left him battling several challenges throughout his life. After being diagnosed with epilepsy as an infant, hospitals and doctor visits very quickly became familiar places for him and his family.

But despite the difficult challenges he faced throughout his life, Zeke's tenacious and youthful spirit never faded.

He loved watching yellow school busses go by and dancing under Friday night lights with his high school cheer team. He loved camping at Jellystone and riding in his mom's jeep. But most of all, he loved his "Bear-Bear," and his mother, Lauralee, who devoted her life to be his caretaker. Zeke took his last breath in February of this year, but his legacy of love will live on forever.

There is a parking lot on the north side of the Lory Student Center, accessed from S. Meldrum St., as well as limited street parking available on S. Howes St., S. Meldrum St. and W. Laurel St.
