About this Event
Audience: School Leader, Teacher

This session is specially designed for Early Years practitioners, it draws upon the most up to date research and explores how best to support children taking those first steps into mathematics and developing a love of learning from a young age.
We exemplify the importance of key mathematical concepts through classroom activities and games and show how these concepts become the foundations for the rest of the primary curriculum. These include the counting principles, key representations, subitising, mathematical talk and developing reasoning throughout all stages of development.
