At a Christmas party hosted by wealthy, unconventional Victor Ziegler (Sydney Pollack), provocative advances arouse suspicion between high-society physician Dr. Bill Harford (Tom Cruise) and his wife Alice (Nicole Kidman).Alone later, Alice opens up to Bill about her sexual fantasies – fantasies that do not involve him.
