About this Event
Join the Sacramento Food Policy Council on Wednesday, May 20th from 5:30 to 7:30 PM at Stanford Settlement Neighborhood Center! Capacity is limited to 50 people, so please only RSVP if you are sure about your ability to attend. Limit 2x tickets per organization.
SFPC will host an update from Beth Smoker, Policy Director at the California Food & Farming Network (CFFN), about the food and farming-related investments included in the State's May Revise. The May Revise must be released no later than May 14th, so this event will be a timely opportunity to gather and hear the latest to inform action. We will also reserve time for attendees to share updates about their work to encourage collaboration. We will serve a meal at 5:30 and begin the program at 6:00 sharp. Feel free to bring a side dish or a dessert to share!
Note: This event is the latest in rebooted quarterly in-person gatherings of the Sacramento Food Policy Council. The intent is to bring together regional food and farming advocates and practitioners to connect, learn about topics of importance, and organize around common priorities. We hope you’ll consider joining us as we revive this important space in the local Farm-to-Every-Fork movement!
