Pedro García Velásquez, Musical direction
The Earth’s Breath explores the connection between nature and composition—impressionism, symbolism, evocation, and reinterpretation. Pedro García Velásquez, in collaboration with Mirtru Escalona Mijares, creates a root-like network linking the different works through a multi-movement piece intertwining electroacoustics, robotic arms, connected plants, and instruments.
A journey into the depths of works by composers from diverse cultures, languages, and backgrounds, all connected to the same source: our Earth.
An immersive concert at the heart of nature, surrounded by African Landscapes, a photographic series by the artist Rens Lipsius.
