EXTRACTION: Art on the Edge of the Abyss will be a powerful night of celebration and lamentation. We will celebrate the beauty and wonder of our world while lamenting the profound environmental degradation caused by humans. Don't miss the world premiere of "Pietà : Lament at the Edge of the Abyss", written in response to the horrific impact of the Berkeley Pit and as part of the larger movement of EXTRACTION: Art on the Edge of the Abyss.We are very excited to be performing for you again and to bring you this incredible performance.
The concert will be preceded by a forum with composer Jerry Mader, soloist Karen Bentley Pollick and various leaders of the EXTRACTION movement.
7:00 Concert
