Extra Life Edmonton Game Day will be hosted by our Presenting Sponsor West Edmonton Mall in the Ice Palace on November 8, 2025. In support of the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation. Sign up today for a chance to win prizes, participate in activities in our exhibitor space and game for 25 hours in our private LAN space.

What to expect:

Cost & Fundraising minimum / Prizing :
- There’s no admission fee to attend, but a minimum of $100 USD on your Extra Life fundraising thermometer is required for entry.
- Incentive prizing will be awarded to fundraisers ( in-person attendees ) after the event.
- Your Eventbrite registration counts as your giveaway entry!

FAQs:
Q: Why is there a fundraising minimum?
A: Extra Life Edmonton is an unpaid volunteer group and the Game Day event is intended to be a celebration of fundraising. We ask that all attendees do their part to help us reach our fundraising goal for the year. The $100 USD is not a price of admission.
Q: Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
A: Photo Identification is required upon arrival at the event. Student ID is accepted. Attendees of all ages are welcome, but those under 15 must be accompanied throughout the event by an attending parent or guardian. Registrants 17 years old or younger must have authorization by their parent or guardian.
Q: Which arrival time should I choose?
A: Arrival times are designed to facilitate a smooth load-in for all attendees. Arrive for setup no later than the time stated on your reservation. If you arrive late, you may have to wait until other participants are loaded in before we can help you. Load in is not available after 12PM.
Q: Can I stream?
A: We welcome streaming at Game Day. Please be advised there will be live entertainment at this event. If you are concerned about stream uploads being muted or flagged, we advise you do not post your VODs. We understand this may be inconvenient but please try to plan accordingly through our schedule.
Q: What can/should I bring into the event?
A: Please refer to our lists of required, recommended, and prohibited items at https://extralifeedmonton.org/game-day/. Information about what we will provide is available there as well.
Q: Do I have to bring my printed reservation to the event?
A: You may bring your electronic reservation on your smartphone or as a print out. You must have your reservation available to be scanned at the event upon arrival.
Q: Can I update my registration information?
A: Yes; however, please avoid doing so within 48 hours of the event to allow us time to prepare our on-site registration.
Q: Is it ok if the name on my reservation or registration doesn't match the person who attends?
A: No. You must be registered under your own name, and your registration must match your Extra Life profile for us to check that you meet the minimum fundraising requirement. Duplicate registrations are subject to deletion without notice.
Q: How do I sit with my friends? Can you move us to be seated together?
A: You will need to coordinate with your friends to choose seats at the same table. We are not able to edit attendees' registrations.
Q: Am I allowed to bring guests?
A: Guests are only allowed during mall hours and with a limit of two guests per attendee.
Q: After I've checked in and set up my station, can I leave to go get lunch etc.?
A: Yes, you will be provided a wristband to move freely around the mall and return to the secured venue in the ice rink. Note that we are not liable for any items left unattended.
Q: Will meals be provided?
A: Yes, snacks and a pancake breakfast will be provided.
