About this Event

John Higgs is a writer, journalist and cultural historian who will be discussing the hidden history behind one of the UK’s most beloved shows, Doctor Who.

The author of books on topics such as KLF, William Blake, James Bond and The Beatles, at this event Higgs will focus on his latest book Exterminate/Regenerate: The Story of Doctor Who, which is the first biography of the Time Lord and dives into the world in a way you’ve never seen it before. Interviewing Higgs will be Dr Matthew Bradley, Senior Lecturer in English Literature.

All passes will include reserved seating in the lecture theatre, plus a host of other exclusive VIP benefits. Please note, the weekend pass does include the launch event with Emma Jane Unsworth on Friday 17th October.  

There are a number of FREE University of Liverpool student tickets at all festival events. Students who sign up to receive their free ticket will need to show their student ID when they arrive at the venue.
