About this Event
Learn to identify exterior elements common to historic buildings and understand their repair with preservation carpenter William Wallace of Wallace Historic Restoration LLC. Through a live demonstration, Wallace will break down the steps involved in enclosing a building envelope, finishing an exterior wall, and repairing clapboard siding and traditional trim.
Participants can choose between two workshop times: April 2 at 12:00 p.m. EDT or April 2 at 6:00 p.m. EDT. The workshop lasts approximately 1.5 hours.
Hosted in the garage of the 1888 Kizer House in South Bend’s Chapin Park Historic District, the workshop is accessible to all. Questions? Contact [email protected].
