Expungenent/ Sealing Kick-Off Event

This kickoff event launches a region-wide Expungement Tour and is designed to educate community members about Virginia's Clean Slate law. Attendees will learn what the law covers and its limitations, who qualifies for expungement or sealing of records, which charges are eligible, and what steps to take if a petition is denied. The event will also empower attendees to advocate for stronger, more comprehensive Clean Slate legislation in the future.
