Expressive Painting & Sound Healing

Art has always been a form of healing, but for most of us, somewhere along the way, it became about skill, output, and making it "good". This event asks you to forget about that, for at least the 2 hours while we are together.

This guided experience using intuitive art-making, movement, breath, and sound will help you access your most inuitive artist. No experience required, only a willingness to show up and explore guided by your emotions and feelings. Different materials open different doors: some help you move through frustration, others bring you back into your body, others quiet your inner noise.

Joined by the musical and movement gifts of Flowjo, we'll create in a way you may never have experienced before, not from the mind, but from the heart. You'll make your own work, and come together to create something with everyone in the room.

4. Warm up — Light stretch and movement to open your body
5. Make art — Intuitive creating with paint, markers, and pens
6. Dialogue with your art — Respond through movement, sound, and words
7. Break — Light refreshments and a chance to breathe
8. Create together — Contribute to one large collective piece
9. Share — Reflect on your process in whatever way feels comfortable
10. Close — Gentle cool-down, connections, and take-home reflections
