Progress your expressive oil painting skills with Cristina Metelli. Prequisite - attended 6-session expressive oil painting course or expressive fundamentals workshop (4th May)Dates: 25th May, 1st and 8th June 2024
Three-session block to continue practising expressive oil painting techniques from the experienced artist and tutor, Cristina Metelli . This course is designed to support participants to develop skills and confidence in painting plants, flowers, and objects from life with oil paint with loose and expressive feel using the "Alla Prima" technique from life, or from photographs. The objective of these sessions is to develop your skills in gestural paint application to help you to connect to your personal response to what you see and express this through texture and colour.
It is a course requirement to have attended Cristina Metelli's Expressive Oil Painting fundamentals course or the Monochromatic Workshop on 6th April prior to booking this block. Further introductory workshops will be scheduled later in the year.
