Art More Place is offering a workshop for those wanting to create looser renderings and paintings of the female figure. This creative event helps students to explore the endless possibilities of expressive art, using a variety of tools and techniques. In this guided workshop, students are taught figure drawing fundamentals, while encouraging self expression. Mediums used include graphite, ink, charcoal, etc. Students will focus on rendering the figure, in a two hour session with a clothed model. Afterwards, we will create additional figure renderings and paintings, using intuitive mark making.No experience is necessary. Most supplies, as well as the modeling fees, are included. Students are responsible for bringing their own papers and certainly can bring any other supplies they already have to use in class.
