About this Event
May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and we’re gathering to celebrate the healing power of art while building creative community. Join the newly energized (NEOHAA) at the North Hill Community Development Corporation on Elma St, both under new, exciting leadership!
This event also serves as a kickoff for renewed networking and community-building through NEOHAA, helping reconnect artists, therapists, educators, healers, and community leaders who believe creativity can strengthen individual and collective well-being. Whether you’re already working in this space or simply curious to learn more, you’re invited to be part of the growing network!
We’ll begin inside the Maker House at the North Hill Community Development Coporation, and flow outdoors into People’s Park for a casual, choose-your-own creative adventure featuring art-making, music, movement, conversation, and community resources. Come solo or bring a friend—drop in, participate as much or as little as you’d like, and meet others who care about the intersection of arts, healing, and community.
