Description de l’événement

Expressions Afro-Francophones (EAF) est un événement culturel et éducatif porté par Point Ancrage Jeunesse (PAJ), qui met à l’honneur la créativité, les récits et les talents de jeunes afro-descendant·e·s francophones de Toronto.

Après plusieurs semaines d’ateliers de création encadrés par des mentors artistiques, 25 jeunes présenteront le fruit de leur parcours à travers une exposition d’œuvres et un spectacle de restitution artistique (arts visuels, performance, expression orale et création scénique).

L’événement célèbre la fierté identitaire afro-francophone, valorise le français comme langue de création et d’expression, et favorise la transmission culturelle, le dialogue intergénérationnel et le rayonnement de la diversité francophone à Toronto.


Objectifs de l’événement
  • Valoriser le parcours créatif et les œuvres de jeunes afro-francophones
  • Renforcer le sentiment d’appartenance à la langue française
  • Sensibiliser les communautés scolaires et francophones à la diversité culturelle
  • Accroître la visibilité de la culture afro-francophone à Toronto
