Expression of Interest: Multiply for Business

This workshop is normally delivered at Heywood House, Westbury, however subject to minimum numbers will be delivered at Old Fire Station, Salisbury on 22 October.

We are asking business in the Salisbury area to register their interest to ensure this offer can proceed.

A small funding pot has been made available from Government to provide foundation training on managing a Company’s finances. This is a one day, fully funded course, which is aimed at people in your business who you would like to better understand the financial fundamentals of running the business. It would suit book keepers, up and coming, rather than experienced, financial controllers or any other staff who would benefit from a better understanding of the fundamental aspects of how finances work for businesses.

The workshop will cover:

• Understanding how to construct and read a balance sheet
• Budgeting, planning and cashflow management
• Mathematical reasoning – understanding numbers
• The weighted decision Matrix – how good use of financial information can support decision making – producing good information for senior management
• Understand margins and marginal costs
• Understanding pricing models and price elasticity
• Profit maximisation techniques – managing costs and revenue
• Use of Excel

Refreshments and a working lunch will be provided.
