Exponential Technology for the wellbeing economy

Schedule

Wed Jan 26 2022 at 06:00 pm to 08:00 pm

Location

Impact Hub King's Cross | London, EN

With Azeem Azhar himself dialling in, discuss how to use exponential technologies to build an economy with people & planet at its core
About this Event

'Exponential: How Accelerating Technology is Transforming Business, Politics and Society' argues that given transformative technologies in AI and computing, biology, renewable energy and manufacturing, we're entering a new era of human history. Each year they decline in price and increase in capability, while society's institutions and norms struggle to adapt. This results in a gap.

What does this mean for those seeking to build an economy with people and planet at its core? How can we navigate the disruption caused by such technologies and harness them for good?

Join us to discuss the main findings of the book, apply them to the wellbeing economy and ask the author your questions.

Please note that access to this event requires proof of a negative lateral flow taken within 24 hours.

The event is wheelchair accessible.
