Training Summary: Self-expression is key to helping children express emotions positively. Poetry, puppetry, and storytelling allow children to give words to feelings through self-expression. The teacher will help children to identify, label, and put words to children's feelings through self-expression.
Training Outcomes:
- To introduce feeling vocabulary to children
- To use poetry to identify, label, and give words to feelings through self-expression
- Toshare examples of feeling tools, activities, and stories to give children an outlet for emotions
Each professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience. You can expect to receive a three question quiz or test at the end of each training.
