About this Event

Join local holistic educator and crystal practitioner Misty Rainwater for an engaging and interactive introduction to the fascinating world of crystals. In this one and half hour workshop, participants will explore the science, history, symbolism, and everyday uses of crystals in a welcoming and approachable environment designed for all levels of experience.

Together, we’ll discover how crystals form naturally within the Earth, examine their unique structures and properties, and learn how cultures throughout history have used stones for beauty, storytelling, ritual, meditation, and personal meaning. Participants will also be introduced to many popular crystals and their traditional associations with mindfulness, grounding, creativity, emotional wellness, and intention-setting.

This class blends education with hands-on exploration and includes opportunities to interact with a variety of crystals while learning practical ways people incorporate them into daily life, meditation, home décor, self-care rituals, and relaxation practices. A gentle guided intention-setting exercise will also be included as part of the experience.

Whether you are completely new to crystals, already collecting them, interested in geology and natural sciences, or simply curious about the growing popularity of crystals and minerals, this workshop offers a thoughtful and balanced introduction to the subject.

No experience necessary. All perspectives and levels of curiosity are welcome.
