What makes an effective leader, and does the answer vary across cultures, especially in Greater China? Drawing on Hogan's Global Leadership Effectiveness Study, this session explores the leadership qualities people value most around the world and compares them with local findings in Greater China. Through global research, personality data, and local insights, participants will gain practical guidance for developing leaders who can succeed in both local and global contexts.
About the Speakers
Krista Pederson is Managing Director, Asia Pacific at Hogan Assessments. Based in China, she leads Hogan's business across 14 Asian markets and has extensive experience in cross-cultural leadership, assessment, and talent development. She is fluent in Chiense and is a recognized speaker at international conferences.
Nicole Dickie is Senior Consultant, Asia Pacific at Hogan Assessments. An Industrial-Organizational Psychologist based in Taipei, she specializes in leadership development, assessment, employee engagement, and cross-cultural leadership. Nicole co-led Hogan's Global Leadership Effectiveness Study and regularly presents research on leadership and talent development at international conferences
