For many, writing feels daunting, more chore than play. There are all those rules (Ack! grammar; Ugh ~ syntax!), and then there’s the small problem of the blank page. Plus, nearly all writers, whether highly accomplished or newbies, fall prey to insecurity, ego, and expecting too much of ourselves. Friends, we ain’t got time for that. This workshop is the antidote to all that daunts.Through readings, prompts and exercises, we’ll put ego aside and loosen up the creative muscles. If you’re looking to start or evolve a writing practice, or get past feeling stuck or stale, this if for you. Our approach is playful and positive, and our goal is to help you discover that writing can be joyful, fun and rewarding.
*This workshop will recur monthly on the last Wednesday of each month. Be sure to register in advance for any session!*
Every month’s session will offer new prompts and fresh perspectives – register for each session you’d like to attend and as often as you like!
