About this Event
We believe that the answers to many of the challenges facing our children and young people today are love and connection.
We continue to experience the impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic throughout society. We are witnessing an increase in the number of children and young people who are living with high levels of anxiety, uncertainty, and emotional and relational stress.
This is compounded by an adult population that has also been impacted by the Pandemic, and who now face the cost-of-living crisis. We are seeing whole communities suffering from policies that are moving more individuals and families into poverty.
This event is suitable for individuals, and organisations, present, or working, in the lives of children and young people, as well as those with an interest in early childhood development, love in a professional context and the Science of Attachment.
This will include those from, but not exclusive to, the following sectors – early years, education, social care, parents, social workers, family support workers, sport and the justice system.
Our speakers are:
John Carnochan, Co-founder of Scottish Violence Reduction Unit
Kate Silverton, Author, Journalist & Child Therapist
Nikki Black MBE, Nursery Head in Glasgow
Ryan McCuaig, Lawyer & Speaker
Dr. Suzanne Zeedyk, Developmental Psychologist
