About this Event
Grade 6-12 educators are invited to join a NOAA Ocean Exploration facilitator for this day-long professional development program. Dive into deep-sea exploration and learn about the technologies required to conduct research at these depths. Between hands-on activities, discussions and walk-throughs of additional online ocean education resources, you’ll be more than ready to introduce your students to this alien world.
Registration is required by September 21, 2024, and is restricted to one ticket per order. Space is limited, so act now! Registered educators receive a number of ocean exploration resources, including lessons, videos, fact sheets and more, as well as a Certificate of Participation and stipend.

Privacy Act Statement
Authority: The collection of this information is authorized under 5 U.S.C. § 301, Departmental regulations, which authorizes the operations of an executive agency, including the creation, custodianship, maintenance and distribution of records, and 15 U.S.C. 1512, Powers and duties of the Department.
