Exploring Spice Routes - come experience the intersection of cultures through food - with Community FEWD's Chef Yasi Zorlutuna!
Hosted at 10C in the Nourish Kitchen, this class will explore culture, technique and combining flavours to give you practical skills for your everyday cooking. Yasi will teach you how to use spices and herbs in authentic and experimental methods, how to make your own spice blends and give you the skills to create your own combinations using a variety of techniques including; blooming, toasting, grinding and more. We will also explore spice origins and cross-cultural similarities and differences. The end result will be a meal created with love to be shared amongst the group.
