Exploring our Jewish Hearts and Souls Through Poetry: a Generative Workshop
Jewish tradition is rich with poetry----from the psalms to modern voices that give language to joy, longing, gratitude, hope and despair.
In this generative workshop led by poet Dina Elenbogen, participants will explore how words, images and metaphor can help us reflect, discover and connect more deeply with our Jewish identities and with each other. We will read and discuss poems by great Jewish poets, which will lead into prompts that will help you create drafts of your own poems. Whether you are a seasoned poet or exploring poetry for the first time, all are welcome.
