Join us for the first session in our Exploring Humanism series, where we delve into the core principles and enduring philosophy of Humanism—a worldview grounded in reason, ethics, and human compassion.
This conversation will explore:
– What Humanism is (and is not)
– The historical roots of Humanist thought
– How Humanism offers guidance in modern life without reliance on religion
– Why Humanism matters in building inclusive, ethical, and thoughtful communities
Whether you’re new to the term or already identify as a Humanist, this session is designed to provoke reflection, encourage dialogue, and deepen understanding.

About the Presenter:
This session will be led by Norhaiyah Mahmood [ Nora ] , a passionate Humanist, unapologetic atheist, and former President of the Humanist Society (Singapore). With over two decades of experience in healthcare, education, and grassroots advocacy, Nora brings both heart and depth to her work. She is currently pursuing her Certificate in Humanist Studies with the American Humanist Association’s Education Center, continuing her journey in deepening and expanding Humanist education.
