In this course, we will dive deep into the roots of Native Hawaiian culture and history, examining key elements such as language, traditions, and spiritual beliefs. From the ancient wisdom of kupuna (elders) to the resilience of the Hawaiian people throughout history, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of the cultural context in which healing arts have flourished.
Additionally, we will explore Hawaiian values such as accountability, adherence to cultural protocols, and the importance of cultural competency and health literacy in the practice of healing.
